Bauder moves into Alsace
The German family-run ETI Bauder, leader in Germany in the fields of waterproofing, insulation as well as “intelligent roofs” has chosen Alsace to set up its first production site in France.
At the centre of the fight against climate change
The European Union’s efforts to combat climate change have led to an increase in demand for insulation material for residential and industrial buildings. As Bauder products meet the new requirements for energy efficiency in buildings, their expansion into Europe was just as obvious as their establishment in Eastern France, the only French region that shares 4 borders with Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
A first non-German speaking site.
The managers of the family business, having already reached the 4th generation, announced European investments of 100 million euros in Germany, Austria and France. The new production plant in Alsace, in the industrial zone Axioparc in Herrlisheim-Drusenheim will be Bauder’s first establishment in a non-German speaking country, an honour for the bilingual Alsace, which is delighted to welcome them.
