In the heart of the Vosges mountains in the Ballons des Vosges Natural Park, the municipality of Muhlbach-sur-Munster in the Munster Valley in Alsace has embarked on a large-scale project over the last fifteen years to develop the tourist appeal of its territory. A 3.9 hectare plot of land located at an altitude of 800 metres on the southern flank of the Altmatt, 4 kilometres from the Gaschney ski area, is intended to house a “glamping” type forest village concept in keeping with the nature and beauty of the area.
