CIBA sets up its European headquarters in Reims

The South African company CIBA has announced the setting up its European headquarters in Reims (Eastern France)! CIBA proposes consulting services to companies which want to implement business strategy by using the latest technology and people solutions, including robotics and artificial intelligence.

CIBA, a company with specialized skills and capabilities in the field of cognitive automation 

Founded in 2014, CIBA already operates across Africa to boost the competitiveness of firms by artificial intelligence and driving large corporations through the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).

It operates in 3 core service offerings:

• Robotics and Artificial Intelligence
• Management Consulting and Advisory
• Project Delivery Resourcing

The company hires today almost 200 employees in Johannesburg, Captown and Durban and works mainly for large corporate multinationals of the financial services, banking, telecommunications, or automotive industry.

To focus on the European market, 24 employees should join CIBA office in Reims over a three-year period and some research and development activities should also be developed on this new location.

The choice of Eastern France

Eastern France is one the largest industrial centre in France and many of the industrial players of the territory might be interested in CIBA’s activities. Just at a few steps from Paris and in the heart of Europe, Reims have been identified by CIBA as ideal location to develop its European business:

Moreover, Eastern France’s strategic location and Reims resources and expertise in the field of AI (the Robotic Academy in Reims and the Computing Center ROMEO) led CIBA to this relevant setting up decision.
