Hydrogen: Training centre in Eastern France
To follow the development of the hydrogen sector in Eastern France, the AFPA and Engie Grand Est have signed a partnership to create a training centre dedicated to the installation and maintenance of hydrogen equipment.
An ever-increasing demand
Hydrogen is a rapidly developing sector. For example, in Lorraine, there are several stations and others under construction, so that the demand for qualified personnel is higher than ever. According to the latest statistics, we need 10,000 people trained in the next ten years to keep up with demand.
The functions will start in 2023 and will be increased initially on the AFPA Metz and Saint-Avold sites with about ten people to be trained.
