MAGNUS DATA sets up in Reims (under the D-SAP brand)

D-SAP announces the establishment of its sister company in Europe, MAGNUS DATA, in Reims (Eastern France)! Founded in Tunis in 2022, D-SAP brings together specialists in artificial intelligence and deep-tech to help companies improve their productivity and environmental performance.

D-SAP in Reims : in the service of productivity and environmental performance of companies

Only 5% of the data generated by industry is actually analyzed and used. The problem lies in the fact that companies do not have the necessary R&D expertise to make use of this data. It is to overcome this problem that D-SAP offers its industrial customers its solutions. Based on the latest generation of AI-based technologies, D-SAP’s solutions enable industries to make the most effective use of the data they collect in real time. This analysis enables them to make effective decisions to optimize their production and reduce their carbon footprint.

Designed to meet the needs of manufacturers, the D-SAP platform supports them on a day-to-day basis with an innovative control optimization process using hybrid algorithms.

Turning data into competitive advantage

Initially, this process was deployed on the wine presses of the Italian industrial equipment company OMNIA TECHNOLGIES Group (Société Della Toffola), a major international player in the wine-making sector. The adoption of these solutions has propelled the Italian equipment manufacturer to the position of international market leader.

The Ampelos presses, equipped with artificial intelligence and interacting worldwide, deliver a productivity improvement of over 30%, made possible by the algorithms created by the young start-up’s team.

Based on these highly conclusive initial experiences, and with business growing steadily internationally and particularly in European markets, the company took the decision at the end of 2023 to set up its sister company in Europe.

The aim is to support more and more European industries in their efforts to improve their performance and reduce their environmental impact, by helping them transform the data they produce into comparative advantages.

The choice of Eastern France

Productive exchanges with Business France Tunisia enabled D-SAP to identify the potential of the Eastern France for their plans to set up in Europe. A visit co-organized by Invest Eastern France and its partner Greater Reims then enabled the company to discover the Reims area’s AI and Big Data ecosystem, as well as the region’s industrial potential. Finally, a meeting with the Innovact incubator and its rapid understanding of the company’s challenges enabled D-SAP to finalize its location decision.

D-SAP will eventually create 12 jobs in Reims, including R&D functions. Aware of its considerable potential for the region, MAGNUS DATA has already been awarded the “Coup de cœur du jury 2024” prize in the Grand Pitch held at the Foire de Châlons on September 5.
