NUTCHEL
Nutchel is a young European tourism brand born in 2017 out of the desire to create a new experience of green tourism. Its leitmotiv: disconnect to reconnect better. All in a wooden cabin that mixes the return to the essentials and a life turned towards the outside.
Its two founders, of Belgian and French origin, select brownfields formerly occupied and exploited by tourists before being abandoned by man. Nutchel “de-artificializes” the soils, then “renatures” them, and installs wooden cabins. For their second location, the group chose to upgrade a former abandoned tourist site in Plaine, in the Bruche Valley (Eastern France), to build 37 wooden cabins in the heart of Vosges Piedmont.
A third location in Ervy-le-Châtel in the Aube region was also announced at the end of 2023. More information: Nutchel sets up in Ervy-le-Châtel – Invest Eastern France (invest-easternfrance.com)

The tourist concept of Nutchel in Plaine
Nutchel proposes to stay, for a short stay of 2 to 4 nights, in one of the 37 unusual accommodations in the forest village of Plaine. Spread over an area of 7 hectares, these cosy and charming cabins are attractive for their clean lines and elaborate design. Large bays make the most of the Vosges panorama.
Accommodating 2 to 6 people per cabin, each has a kitchen, a wood-burning stove and a friendly area to enjoy the view, but also a hot water shower and private toilets, a terrace with barbecue and picnic table, bedding worthy of the largest establishments. . .
Some cabins also have a private hot tub to fully enjoy the great outdoors and the Nutchel experience. Thus, all the comfort remains in place, while preserving the authenticity of the stay.
Once relaxed, the guest is happy to embark on a micro-adventure, nourished by many outdoor activities: discovering the surroundings on foot or by bike, building a hut with the family, gathering around a basket for breakfast or a barbecue, relaxing in one of the two saunas on the estate. . .
Nutchel received in November 2022 the “Trophée du tourisme Alsace” in the accommodation category! Congratulation to the whole team!
